English speaking people had more and better rights than french speaking. Separatists party became an alternative for other parties. Taxi drivers and postal workers protested not all is well with french workers. October crisis flq (4 members) kidnapped james richard cross to get a manifesto published, to free political prisoners, and etc. Flq demands want to be met so the government printed the manifesto many people sympathized. Democracy in quebec seen as democracy of the rich by the flq members.
