Today will be focused on new england and settlement. ^yes because the religious outcasts in england came to america to escape persecution in. ^the christian reformation began in the 16th century, inspired by martin luther. The reformation spread across europe with many others taking lead such as jean calvin. The main rejection against the catholic church was the covenant of works, instead protestants believed in the covenant of faith.
