Women healers were caring and saw medical care as something being universal at the time. Male healers, regular doctors, were exercising therapies (ie. water therapy: doctors would cut peoples wrists until they bleed out the evil , fatal and injurious treatments. Women healers have done their imperialistic research and have come to conclusions and passed on practices: villa dona prevented miscarriages.
