Sensory information: capacity that people have to perceive through mobility (sense, touch, smell) Short-term memory: where info is stored temporarily (phone number) Long-term memory: the storehouse of knowledge that also includes the rules for applying knowledge (retain info) Does take old people a bit to remember. Old people experience changes in vision and hearing. Refers to the minds ability to process information which is stored and accessed for future use such as task completion. Recognizes that many conditions influence people"s memory, including biology, individual-level capacities, and schooling.
