Who says bereavement should only last two months: in some cultures, mourning lasts longer (special traditions) Women are more likely to approach a medical physician: hormones, stressful life events, especially childhood adversity. Women play fewer roles (staying at home more), or roles less fulfilling (tend to work in marginal" industries: diagnostic bias. More mental practitioners are more likely to diagnose a women over a man.
