Characteristics of someone who develops anorexia: losing breasts, losing hips. Less fertile: wear a lot of baggy clothing, taking breast down, have personalities that are young even for their age, immature, sexual disinterest. Bulimia are those who still want to compete. If you want to understand anorexia you need to look at a the typical girl: middle class, not working class, university educated, involved in various activities, good student, good girl, people pleaser, well-liked by teachers, parents. Food intake is the one thing that these girls can control. Restricting food intake is an act of rebellion.
