Speci c symptoms for speci c diseases - speci c cure/treatment fo the illness. Limits who ought to take care of mental illness (ie. doctor, physician) Treatments include psychopatharmaceuticals, ect - shock treatment, etc. The people used for studies are those diagnosed with schizophrenia - once diagnosed then treated but scans don"t show the underlying cause of disease or any treatments (i. e. psychopharmaceuticals) Also focuses on individual, but takes into consideration mental/psychic processes, believing that mental disorder arises from internal mental processes that re ect the interaction of the individual with their environment.
