Delusions of peoples speaking to god (not mentally ill but put into question) Used to be homosexuals (a thing you were diagnosed with, homosexually was understood as a psychiatric problem) Things that we take into mental illness category now. These disorders may not be categorized the way that they are in the future. Searched as tranquil settings, this is only one conception of mental health and how to achieve it. Mental disorders are characterized by their effect of (thought, behaviour, mood) Some disorders only affect one of those elements, others are felt in multiple areas. A spiritual problem the devil is possessing them . A s a somatic problem chemical imbalance etc. A problem with the body ( mental illness as a personal problem: more failing, no such thing as mental illness at all)
