Nami wanted to move away from the parents fault, and focused more on the brain genetic brain disease: Figures for avg. risk of developing schizo depends on (in theory): general pop. 1% spouses of ppl w/schizo: 2% children of 1 parent w/schizo: 7-15% offspring of 2 parents w/schizo: 27-46% . Some combinations of genes suspected but research is unclear, inconsistent. High genetic overlap between schizo and several other disorders. It"s not entirely based on geneticsbut we can"t say for certain, & maybe we never will other biological/somatic.
