Yin and yang, bodily humours (bile, phlegm: it"s a metaphysical manifestation, chemical imbalance last 30 years (idea under attack, people are giving up on this idea) Somatic problems: of the body (ibn-sina) a physical problem in the brain treat with drugs (psychopharmaceuticals, a truly existing thing and physical manifestation. Personal problems: a moral fail, a problem in living. A person has an addiction because they make poor choices. Depressed people just need to get out of bed.
