Reflection 7
This week has been very busy. I am in the midst of making quarterly
decisions for my international business strategy competition. These decisions
then dictate our results for the following quarter. I enjoy doing them but it does
get a bit stressful. At the same time we have our business plan due this week as
well. This is where all the details regarding our goals, vision and strategies will be
said. A lot of preparation has been to put into this report, as the judges will mark
it and give us a grade. This competition also has a final presentation that will be
given by each team in California in April in front of the judges. I am very exited
and looking forward to it. Our group meets twice a week to make sure every thing
is completed properly. I sometimes do find it to be tedious as the smallest detail
is accounted for. If we accidently have a number error, it will give us different
results. All the decisions are imputed into the online simulation program. There is
a lot of information provided on historical data and competition that we have to
consider and analyze to which we base our decisions on that. So we have to be
very precise about our decisions.
