Survey with a list of common events, and the person would check off if they experienced it: weak support for major life events, no relationship, or there is a relationship, but it"s minimal. Strong support for daily hassles: better for your mental health, no support for positive influence of uplifts. There are very few age appropriate life event scales out there: assumes events are equal in impact on health, where do you intervene.
