Cells--> (group together to form tissues)--->tissues (from organs)-->organs (work together to form body)---> system. Classified according to the number of cells layers and the shape. Consists of cells surrounded by extra- cellular matrix (fluids- semi fluid gelatinous, ions & fibers- collagen, elastin etc. ) Diff amounts of fibers & cell types = diff classed of connective tissues. Connective tissue repair - loose connective (reticular), dense connective (regular) adiocytes. Consist of 2 layers ---> epidermis(most superficial) made up of epithelial cells mostly, & dermis. Known as cutaneous membrane, sits on hypodermis (subcutaneous layer) Skin is an indicator of clinical conditions & dysfunction. Yellow- jaundice -waste products building up- biliruben, red blood cells lived their life span, blowing up , fat building up is excreted) Red- erthemya - heat, infection, inflammation , allergic reaction(immune response to things in environment, dilation of blood cells causing blood flow to skin)
