Venous blood from gi organs and spleen go to the liver before going to the inferior vena cava biggest artery is aorta capillaries: site of gas and nutrient exchange, waste removal from tissues veins, return blood to the heart, capillaries (cid:224) venules (cid:224) veins (smallest to biggest) biggest veins are inferior and superior vena cava.
