Document Summary
Friday september 14th humanities@mcmaster. ca (to book an appointment for counselling) Not writing about author, but style of the book and why it interests you. Book that you enjoy the writing of. Style: gives a picture of what is going on in your mind, how it unfolds and what how it unfolds actually feels like. The revelation of a personality (voice) and a mood (tone) Fold into one another, emphasizes your personality. Evolve and come clear as you age, the other is temporary is manipulable. Content or argument: a presentation of what you have to say. You are to have things to say, and you will have to say things. Includes thoughts, ideas, connections, insights, questions, claims, discoveries, conclusions. This will normally take some form of narrative. Consciousness is a happening to oneself, one"s own thoughts of uniqueness. When writing to yourself, you"re making yourself up- no such thing as a natural voice in writing.
