Brain protected by: cranial bones: form skull, cranial meninges: connective tissue surrounding brain and spinal cord, cerebrospinal fluid: bathes brain. Folding of this forms falx cerebri and dural venus sinus. 3rd ventricle makes more csf moves through aqueduct up to 4th ventricle more csf produced from 4th. Through median and lateral apertures goes to subarachnoid space superior sagittal sinus.
