Extensibility: muscle can be stretched beyond its resting length and still maintain their functional ability to contract. Hyperextending my arm, you can still contract muscles in shoulders. Normally, there are some points where you can stretch so much you cant contract anymore (way beyond). Elasticity: ability of muscle to recoil to original resting length after its been stretched.
