If they enjoy it, their motor and physical fitness will improve greatly . (term mental retardation became more socially acceptable now called neurodevelopmental disabilities to be less negative, more people-friendly. Therapeutic: is temporary, we rehabilitate those w temporary disability. Developmental: to improve someone"s skill, fitness eg. weight-lifting, learning how to properly walk at age 7. Remedial: to correct some movement deficiencies eg. correct batter"s hitting skills, more efficient running technique.
