Repetitive/persistent behaviours that violate rights of others and/or norms and rules of society. Prevalence: under 18 years of age, higher in urban areas (boys: 6-16%, girls: 2-9%) These are the individuals most likely to be incarcerated in our legal system. Environmental and genetic causes, related to the social settings the kids were raised in. These individuals need someone to understand them and need help. We can help these individuals, especially through pa which can teach them to get engaged and follow the rules. Causes/threatens physical harm to other people or animals. Causes property loss/damage, deceitfulness, theft, violation of rules. Do not focus on other people/animals but focus instead of people s property (breaking and entering, arson, stealing) Adolescent onset: symptoms do not show prior to age 10. Unspecified onset: not enough info yet to know if symptoms showed before 10 years or not.
