Connecive tissue issue: there may be muscles ataching to the ct that are pulling on it too much creaing the pain, outer wrapping that blends into the periosteum and pulling on the ibia, tibia-posterior. Doesn"t come down the medial ibial border, but it could be part of issue because its responsible for arch control on medial side. Maybe it"s of medial posterior, which we run and jump and land, ask it to absorb shock, challenges tp. Overloading it, pulling on it too much. Cross secional area: state of the bone itself and the csa, smaller csa is oten the afected one, maybe something to do with shape and construcion of the bone, not ct, we don"t know. Ddx: ibial stress fracture: diferenial diagnosis: back of head thinking, diagnosis you would give if it wasn"t just ct, maybe they have a fracture.
