All of a sudden during pressure application, the knot feels like it shudders, and it lets go. Person can now open up muscle and rom improves. Tp locations: two x"s if active, tps usually show up here, ls comes from superior angle of scap and travels up side of neck, tp where neck meets trapezius, upper corner of neck. Referral pattern: if you hit point and reproduce pain apttern you found tp, levator-trap area, has capacity for pain to refer down to medial border of scap and backof scap. Referral pattern: pain into temporal region, on posterolateral aspect of neck , more just lateral right behind the ear. Tp locations: evenly spaced through muscle belly.
