Arthritis, cancer: pain illusion can be very challenging. Neuropathic pain: pain that were experiencing no longer a symptom of the pathology, ex. Sprained my ankle (pathology) and it hurts (symptom: the pain is now the pathology, problem is the nervous system not the tissue.
