Gov"t stops spending, soldiers come back from war, mass unemployment. Many strikes started by workers not leadership workers are pissed off. Happens in calgary major meeting of labour radicals. Creating their own convention and creating the one big union still general strike. Dramatic event in canadian industry may 15, 1915. One level there is a national growing strike and plans by radical labour organizers. One another level there is economic problems lots of immigrants in the poor working class. Wide spread strikes take place while workers are getting frustrated. Sympathy strikes going on strike to support other workers issues.
