Being a part of decision making having more of a say. Is the direction and scope of organization over the long term. What is my plan? : the aim of which to best achieve best advantage for the organization through the configuration of resources. Tina there is no alternative: capitalism is the way that things work, there is going to be no resistance because capitalism is going to be it forever. Mass direct action: often done is mass movements, through direct participation, this sometimes include an electoral campaign. Getting arrested and feeling good, like it was necessary (civil rights movement) Mass movements have different prongs, different goals, which makes them powerful. Working on different fronts which includes different people. Challenges models that rely on reps to do things for us (political, or union officials, or members of staff of organization) But does not look to electoral change as the answer. Electoral is about changing office, not whose in power.
