The ccf finished 3rd in the 1945 election. Never gets back up in the polls after this. In this time period the ccf and the labour movement is struggling in quebec. Political polices of the liberals and conservatives shift. If they are going to keep their members they have to instill the labour friendly policies in their parties. Big breakthrough in saskatchewan ccf member becomes premier.
