What marxists believe that capitalism is there to turn all things into profits to be bought and sold. Race is socially constructed race is manufactured, and it is an artificial kind of construction. What race you are a part of will effect your living experience. It was discovered by scientists in the 1920"s, because they used to try and break down people into categories of race. It was found that this didn"t work, to have a biological dividing line there have to be clear distinction between people. The problem was they found more similarities between people than differences. The rules between the dividing line changed over time (who is a part of what race?) Black women + black man (black child) White women + white man (white child) Black women + white man (child is considered black) Black man + white women (child is considered black) There are no mixed communities in the u. s, communities are pretty distinct.
