A predictable sequence of mental and bodily processes characterizes sexual interactions. Sexual attraction is an erotically charged orientation toward a specific other person. Not everyone feels an attraction towards an individual in a sexual context. These individuals do not derive pleasure from sex or even masturbation. This is more of a lack of a desire on the part of the individual. They are able to maintain close intimate relationships without the act of sex, sexual attraction, sexual desire or sexual behavior. Asexuality is different from a conscious decision not to engage in sexual relationships (sexual abstinence) Every culture has their own set of ornamentation, displays or body markings that hey deem to be attractive. These differences between individuals and culture may seem odd to others but attractive for the individuals involved (there are individual and cultural differences in the idea of beauty)
