Skin metastases are cancerous cells which have developed on the membrane of the skin by traveling through the lymphatics or circulatory system and are due to the spread of a primary tumour 1. These metastases typically develop after the primary tumour has been diagnosed and once the primary tumour has progressed, however in rare instances it can develop before or at the same time as the diagnosis 1.
