But the cameraman had to be in the box, and it was very hot, little air, and youd have to stop quite regularly to give the cameraman a break. So it didn"t work out in the long run. Sound on film became the main thing over the next few decades. So on the actual film strip, there would be a literal sound track. Literally squiggles of information on the film beside the images and the projector would convert the squiggly lines into sound. Sound on film worked much more efficiently and was successful.
