Music for film & television may 05 2016. Can have a lot of say about a production and influence it. In films they don"t really interfere with the artistic decision making. Television- producer involved in artist decision ot so much in movies. Producer in charge of director but this is also a shared role: line producer, director. In charge of the music (oversee the music aspect) Collaborate with the music composer: editor. At least one person that has this just as their specialty. Editing and the use of music have an interesting relationship. The time after the film has been shot and the director/editors are working on the final version. One of the last versions of the film that includes music. Can have agents to help be hired and direct their career. Good relationship with the director and they don"t always have knowledge of music so there is patience needed. About a month to write a score.
