Stax much more focus on the feel of the song, the collective efforts of everybody involve. Motown use multitrack, and stax does not use multitrack records everyone at once in studio. It shows that stax record much more focused on the feel and intensity, and if not all the notes make it, it is okay. Motown wanted to produce hits and they were shaping it to make it attractable to the majority of audience.
