Culture is a notoriously difficult term to define. American anthropologists, kroeber and kluckhohn, critically reviewed concepts and definitions of culture, and compiled a list of 164 different definitions. Despite a century of efforts to define culture adequately, as of the early 1990s, still no agreement among anthropologists regarding its nature. Culture is that complex whole which includes knowledge, belief, art, morals, law, custom, and any other capabilities and habits acquired by each person as a member of society. ".
