Tim wrote a secret song called gracias stephanie with his music therapist emma and learned the guitar during treatment so he could play the song for his wife at their wedding as a surprise gift: wasn"t feeling very well when treatment started, not up for a lot but the music therapist was upbeat, he was hesitant at first but it gave him something that was alive, he wasn"t very good at expressing things, but created a song of everything he wanted to say, young girl pre surgery. Loss of regular activities, abilities, jobs, relationships: a lot for the person to process in regards to the change to their life, adjustment, rehabilitation, the process will vary for every person, different physio, doctors, ot, neuro surgeons and depending on where the person is receiving care, they may or may not have access to music therapy.
