Aestheic: cause about how the music sounds, the beter it sounds the more the progress, no verbal all music, also improvisaion. Analyic: there could be a lot going on, not something you would want to listen to again (improvisaion) Behavioral: modify behavior, reinforcers or consequences: ex. Brain injury, she loves miley cyrus, she wanted to sing her songs, when she was younger she had a virus in her brain that resulted in her ability to not move or talk. Was able to read the lyrics of songs even though her apparent cogniive level was low. Working toward developmental goal of speech, recognizing through singing she was able to pracice reading, reading wasn"t enough but if you sang books she would learn to read. Using music to reach a developmental goal, able to increase reading skills. Reinforced by allowing her to sing miley cyrus as a reward. Diferent ways to improvise, not as simple as just making something up.
