Topic: should latimer be sentence to life in prison. Isn"t only a case of euthanasia-but involuntary euthanasia. Robert latimer says he did it out of compassion but they say it"s not. Because she was a human being, she was entitles to her own life. Made it look like she died in her sleep. Affected not only latimer and his daughter, but the whole disabled community. Able bodied people see disabled people"s lives as terrible and not worth living. By not giving robert latimer the proper sentence, it"s life saying his actions are okay. Power imbalance- people without disabilities have more power over disabled people"s lives. Robert did whatever any rational person would do. If he didn"t, she would keep getting useless treatment for her incurable disease. It"s not easy to live or die, and tracy could do neither without help.
