Part of being a person is that we have to make choices about how we are going to behave in the world (ex, kind vs. mean: these are moral choices. Moral choices are decisions that we have to make about how to behave, such that we"re acting properly. Sometimes difficult to tell if we"ve made the right choice (abortion, euthanasia, etc. : complicated issues that people have strong opinions about. Ethical thinking is suppose to help us overcome our hardest decisions that we are unsure of how to make. Three ways people use to help decide about a moral issue: the expressive level.
