I don"t feel like its good : when dealing w meaningful, serious repercussions for issues, Looking forward: ie if someone steals a students laptop: he will be happy to have a new laptop, student will be annoyed, have to spend money, will lose notes, etc. Non consequentialist theories: seek to answer moral questions without reference to good or bad effects in the future but rather lay reference to someones moral status or quality of their historical actions.
