Faster within first 200 ms of showing target within cue in cued box. Faster in uncued box when passed first 200ms of showing target outside of cued box. Slower in cued location after an amount of time. Perceptual system tags this location just attended with inhibition. Inhibition of return is a foraging facilitator in visual search (klein macinnes) One attends, another pulls attention back to the middle. Find waldo, then keep searching till you find magician. A dot comes up at a location, then bang a key when you see a dot. Location that was just looked at should be tagged with inhibition, because you say no ive looked there.
