Think about the 4 points talked about (above) Tuskegee syphilis study: biomedical realm, 1932, department of public health. Have a group of men that have syphilis and did not tell them, but tell them that they have bad blood. Offer free medical care so they can continue to study the men. 1947, penicillin is a cure for syphilis. Doctors did not treat the men in the study, and took steps to make sure these men did not receive treatment elsewhere. Thus, these men are living with it and possibly spreading it. 2/3rd of the men are dead, unsure how many people they effected. Milgra(cid:373)"s study of o(cid:271)edie(cid:374)(cid:272)e: 1961, yale university. Says the study is on learning, and the effects of punishment on learning.
