Purpose of political life is to live well and flourish and develop as citizens. Good life is one with enough wealth, health, and all the things that you need to do as humans and to live a good life. What the good life consists of: (state and individual level) (284) way of politics and action: state. Contemplation (philosophical): individual (cid:1) (cid:1) (cid:1) (cid:1) Allow us to live well and happily. Best kind of state: secures internal conditions. Seems that the political life would be superior (man is a political animal) Political life should be the best life according to aristotle. Beyond that political life is the key to our freedom (cid:1) (cid:1) Aristotle does not see the political life as the carry out. Best person is the one that develops own personal goods (goods of the soul) Engage with other people but, ultimately political life is a means of the end. Engage in the pursuit of excellence and virtue.
