Brain placed in very strong magnetic field causing water molecules to resonate, gives signal. Difference in brain activation of liars and truth tellers. Not used in forensic lie detection so far. Recording and interpreting heat given off individual"s face. Those deceptive show flushing response and thus more heat in face. Watching behaviour and listening to person just as good as combined with thermograph. Nothing that sways jurors more other than confessions. Humans are visual and trust visual info over other senses. Not as reliable as we used to think. 90% false convictions based almost completely on eyewitness testimony. Cleared by dna (showing more pictures--> less correct identification) Detained by rape but was on tv at time discussing eyewitness testimony. Cross racial identification in a lot of these cases. Witnesses have trouble discriminating those of another racial group. Do not remember anything before the age of 2 or so. Most people do not remember much about coins.
