What is the difference between local and global competition: local is the people you are interacting with the same individuals you are competing with for fitness, global is outside of the circle we interact with. Increases conflict, use more money to burn the individuals they compete with locally: decreases cooperation, more likely to play a hawk than a dove. Prisoners dilemma, cooperation declines in local and increases in global: the ultimatum game- increased the amount of money necessary to get someone to agree to a deal. How is moral psychology strategic: we shape a logical pathway for morality with reason, self interest is a big apart of moral psychology, but it is tempered by your ability to get people to agree with you.
