Document Summary

At a more basic level, unconscious, reflexive learning is vital to the survival of a species. There are two unconscious learning processes : Done by ivan pavlov, also called pavlovian conditioning. The new behaviour is conditional upon training. The presentation of one stimulus reliably leads to the presentation of another. When an organism learns the association between a signal and an event, a contingent relationship has formed between the two stimuli. Learning these contingencies is the essence of classical conditioning. When a relationship is learned, an organism can respond to the signal before the event even occurs. Classical conditioning: the learning of a contingency between a particular signal and a later event that are paired in time and/or space. One that unconditionally and automatically triggers a response in the absence of any learning. When a us occurs, a ur always follows. The unconditional response triggered by the us. The response occur naturally, prior to any learning.
