Look at previous editions and look at the 4 ds and make sure that teach item listed as a disorder meet the criteria and there are many disagreements. Many disorders have groups to advocate for more research. Autism spectrum disorder received more and more alteration: deficits in social communication and social interaction, restricted repetitive behaviours, interest and activities, criteria to diagnose autism has changed. Easier criteria to meet = increase number of diagnosis.
