Focus on abstinence and fidelity don"t address realities of women"s lives. Faith-based groups oppose pre and extra-marital sex, homosexuality, sex work. Women are more biologically susceptible to the disease, male to female transmissions 20% more likely than female to male. Women can also be at more risk because of unfaithful husbands. Criticisms: many group that women do not power in relationship to force protected sex, making themselves more at risk . Most hiv infections in women result from sex with husband or partner. Climate change and it"s impact: rising sea levels, increasing water acidity etc. Barriers to implementation: willing to exchange short term cost for long term benefits. People involved in agriculture most negatively impacted by climate change. Greater number of female deaths in disasters linked to : not knowing how to swim or climb trees, also larger role in caregiving. We are approaching the limit of the number of people the earth can support.
