- Diagosed ith Croh’s disease
- Suicidal at age of 12
- Felt emotional pain and nothingness
- Depression got worse in high school
- Thought cameras hidden everywhere
- Kept together at age 14 – felt alone and cried herself to sleep every night
- Experienced severe anxiety and was hard to get out of bed in the mornings
- Put on Paxil – mood began to lift
- Ended up self-ediatig paol to ake sure she ould’t e depressed
- 2 hours a day, 5 days a week – working out
- Had a log period aa fro frieds eause of Croh’s Disease
- 17 birthday v hard – October 27 2004 could no longer deal with the depression
- I a’t take it aore; I at to die – kids help phone
- 5 days after 17th birthday – adult psych ward at Mac
- Distorted thoughts
- Was’t alloed to go hoe for Christas or e ears eause of oditio
- Banned from all psych wards for 6 months in Hamilton
o Ra aa ad tried to get help fro “t.Joe’s ut got kiked out
- Age 17 – Personality disorder
o Stereotyped
- Thought music was talking to her
- Thought she was possessed by the devil – thought she asked parents for hammer and nails to
crucify herself – drunk teenagers called 911 and said she was on drugs and was taken by
paramedics and admitted to hospital
- 6 psychiatrists
- Discharged from group home on 18th birthday
- Had seere proles ith Croh’s disease – had surgery – colostomy
- Given marijuana by some kid off the street to help calm her down – went to hospital because
weed addiction – smoked 11 times
- Homeless after discharged from hospital
- Eventually admitted to Alberta hospital – placed on lithium – discharged in 3 months –
diagnosed with Bipolar Affective Disorder
- Went back home by 19th birthday – finished high school
