Signs of disturbing persist for at least 6 months, including 1 month of symptoms from list. Rule out schizoaffect, depression, bipolar and other disorders. Positive symptoms: have good prognosis; meds work better on them, disturbance, excess of normal function, hallucinations, delusions. There is a spontaneous remission rate that is high when considering the reduction in life.
