Differences in theories of personality: many more theories than other areas of personality. Oldest area in all of psychology: 2500 year old personality theories. Personality is a big idea and that our view on personality covers thoughts, behaviours: enormous range of phenomenon the way in which personality is developed and tested: begins with observation.
