Stages of psychosexual development: freud believed that we pass through stages, each of which has a physical focus, some part of our physical body that we focus on, each stage also has a psychological them. Psychosexual development: oral, eat, sleep, suck their thumb etc, focus on what they are doing with mouth, lips and tongue, originally called erogenous zone , learning how to be dependent on people do stuff for them.
