Jung: describes ideas in a language that doesn"t sound scientific: literary, religious, allusions, metaphors, similes. Freud: ego is outgrowth of the id; conscious and unconscious. Jung: ego is very much the same; entirety is conscious; deals with outside world. Present at birth (freud: develops once we"re born) Storage of all the things we experience that are not in conscious.
